2nd Annual Function 'Global Musical Fusion' held at WIS,Atun Road, Bhilwara(16.02.19)



























‘No education can be complete without the art and creativity playing a central role in a child’s life’.
Music brings the world closer. Not just words, there are notes, songs, tunes and dances to express every emotion. And while we all love music, the city geared up its sound-loving sights for something a bit more exotic.
Bhilwara rounded up at Witty International School, Atun Road, Bhilwara on its 2nd Annual Day on the theme Global musical Fusion on February 16,2019.
The school was decorated elegantly. A grand stage had been set up with professional sound system. The celebration and festivity of the function commenced with the pious lightning of the lamp ceremony by the Chief Guest Mr Rajendra Singhji Kavia (Additional District Magistrate) , guests of honour Mr Deepakji Pareek (Assistant Commissioner Of Income Tax), Mr Ratan Lalji Nolakha(Chairman-Nitin Spinners), Mr Laddhu Lalji Bangar (Chairman-Kanchan Group Of Industries), Mr Trilok Chandraji Chaabra (Chairman RCM group), Directors Mr Akin Choudhary and Ms Shilpa Choudhary, Head curriculum, training and counseling of Witty group of institutions, Mrs Sheetal Kapoor, Principal WIS, Udaipur Mrs Shubha Govil, Principal Mrs Abha Mittal and Vice Principal Mr Arif Khan.
Exceptional musical and dance pieces from all over the world were fission on Witty stage. To encourage students to experience a broader range of live performances and to help students talk about music intelligently dances from Korea, China,Japan,Spain,India etc. were taught and they beautifully came alive on the stage displaying style and resplendence.
The programme commenced with Welcome dance “Abhinandan Of Parvati Nadan” by grade 7 students. The Annual Report of the school in the domain of academic achievements, cultural achievements and internationalism were read in Witty News by the students of grade 3 to 7. Students decked up as Maria and Captain Vikram Singh in the play ‘Sound Of Music’ wove the entire theme transporting everyone in global music. Prizes were given away to the toppers and other students who had brought laurels to the school in various competitions and contests. Addressing on the occasion Chief Guest lauded and praised the school for raising the educational standard in the city.  
The programme would have been incomplete without honoring of the most integral part of the school management i.e. the support staff without whom the event as well as the day to day work would have been ineffable. Mrs Sheetal Kapoor Head curriculum, training and counseling of Witty group of institutions expressed deep appreciation for the invaluable logistical support provided by our support staff.
Principal, Mrs Abha Mittal briefed the audience with the vision of the institution and intercultural learning programmes. The best fireworks are always saved for last and that is its Grand Finale.  The errand brought unparalleled observations of fusion of different dances from all over the world.  Our terpsichorean jiggled the entire stage and aisle encircled the entire ground. The nail-biting audience observed the entire event with great enthusiasm .
At the end Vice Principal, Mr Arif Khan thanked the chief-guest, dignitaries, and parents for having spared their time to attend the function; he also thanked students and teachers for organizing the function successfully.
