"A world without flowers is
like a face without a smile’, To educate and reinforce
the concept of ‘Basant Ritu’ a special assembly was organized at Witty International
School, Atun Road, Bhilwara on February 09,2019. Basant Panchami is
an occasion which marks the advent of spring and is also celebrated to worship
goddess Saraswati - The goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The celebration
commenced with Saraswati Vandana followed by Hindi and English
speeches and a beautiful skit performed by the students of Grade II.The
students from primary classes informed about the ways in which the festival is
celebrated in different regions of India. The mesmerizing performance by
students wearing yellow dress depicting the yellow mustard fields
added a charm to the event. At the end Principal Ma’am addressed the students with her motivational words. The students enjoyed the day, enlightened by the
blessings of Maa Saraswati.
