Little Wittians of Witty World ,Bangur Nagar celebrated Basant
Panchami on 11th February 2019, Monday with great zeal and
enthusiasm.
Basant Panchami is a popular Hindu festival that celebrates the
onset of spring and also indicates the end of winter season and welcoming the
spring season. On this day, Goddess Saraswati is worshipped which symbolizes
Knowledge ,wisdom, purity and truth .
Our little Wittians were dressed in yellow and Orange colour as it
indicates bright yellow sunshine, brilliant nature and vibrancy of life.
Classes were also decorated with bright yellow marigold and sunflower.
Children of Playgroup did sponge dabbing on head gear of the sun
while Nursery children made sunflower by sticking the petal on the flower.
Children of Jr.KG made marigold flower by springing of crepe paper on it and
Sr.KG children enjoyed freehand drawing in scrap book.
Children enjoyed celebrating this festival.
