Karate is an ancient
martial art built around self-defense that originates from Japan and
China. It has become extremely popular worldwide, and has many
variations. A one month Karate camp was conducted
from Tuesday, 5th February 2019 to Friday, 15th March
2019, for our Jr.KG children, by instructor,‘Sensei’ Kalavati Dhole,’Sensi’Karan
Patil and ‘Sensei’ Dashrath Mokashi from ALL INDIA SHOTOKAN KARATE DO-FEDERATION.
They took our children on a journey that helped them to understand the
importance of physical fitness and perseverance Children learnt
different karate styles and moves such as Middle block, Upper rising
block, downward block, Front kick, Side kick and many other styles.
It was indeed a learning
experience for the little Wittians!!
