“Imagination
is the beginning of creation”.
Children are
innate visual artists. They just need the right guidance to explore their
creativity through unstructured exploration. Origami art is soothing and
cheering activity which helps in lightening anxiety.
To enhance fine
motor skills and spatial-visual learning, a competition “Art and Craft”
was organized at Witty International School, Udaipur for the students of Grades
I and II (CAIE) based on the
theme “Animals” to help students climb their own creative mountains as high as
possible.
It was a
creative way to provide platform for the budding artists to bring out their
latent creativity and to understand that all are unique
in their own respective ways. The participants vented
their imagination and aesthetic values and explored the creative magical
expressions on origami sheets.
