My Sense of Taste By Jr.KG Section (2019-20),Witty World ,Goregaon East

My eyes can see the bright sun,
My nose can smell hot cinnamon buns,
My ears can hear the big loud drums,
My tongue can taste good things yum. Yum!
My hands can feel the sand. What fun!
I like my senses, every one!

On 4th July 2019, Witty World Goregaon East, organized a ‘Sense Booth’ activity for Jr.KG section that focused on providing a fun, sensory experience to children. Sensory play is simple play that encourages children to use one or more of their senses. Children were provided with ample of opportunities to touch, feel, taste, hear and smell through various attractive displays and games in different “sense booth” corners. There was a display of various edible household items for kids like sugar, salt for taste. Wittian’s experienced  colourful objects, textured paths, different textured materials, sound materials like musical instruments and pre-recorded sounds were displayed to enhance the sense of sight, touch and auditory respectively. Children differentiated between foul smell and good smell by smelling items like perfumes, incense sticks and scented candles
It was indeed a “Sensational” experience for our little Wittians.
