Van Mahotsav Celebration
Witty International school, Udaipur celebrated Van Mahotsav on Thursday, 04th July, 2019 with great fervour .The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instill the value of social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding the flora.
Students of Grade VI to VIII created an awareness by sharing information about medicinal plants like neem, aloevera, basil, etc. Different saplings were brought and planted in the campus by the Wittians.
Students illustrated the importance of trees in contributing to the environment by providing oxygen ,preserving soil, supporting wildlife, maintaining the natural ecosystem.
The principal , Ms. Deepa Chkravorty , advocated that the ailing planet need to be treated with righteous compassion. Youth of today can religiously shoulder the responsibility of nurturing and preserving the flora and fauna by being its steady stewards.
