National Senior Citizen Day is celebrated as a day to support, honour and show appreciation to our Seniors and to recognize their achievements.
Today, on this special occasion, Wittians of Grade VI to VIII participated in a special assembly to acknowledge the importance of Senior Citizens in our lives.
Wittians also acknowledged the significance of Akshay Urja Diwas or Sadbhavana Diwas to encourage energy saving all over India. This day is celebrated to commemorate our former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi's birth anniversary which brings forth the idea of energy conservation.
