Independence Day And Raksha Bandhan Celebration By Sr.KG Section (2019 - 20), Witty World, Bangur Nagar

Kache dhago se bani pakki dor hai rakhi,

Pyar aur mithi shararat ki haud hai rakhi,

Bhai ki lambi umrah ki dua hai rakhi.

Fansi chad gae aur sine par goli khai,

Hum un shahido ko pranam karte hai,

Jo mit gae log, desh ke liye,

Hum unko pranam karte hai.

Wittians from Witty World, Bangur Nagar celebrated  Independence Day and  Raksha Bandhan with great zeal, on 14th August, 2019. The school wore a festive look . Teachers as well as the children came dressed in traditional tri-colored attires. A special assembly was conducted where the  children sung National Anthem followed by the Pledge. Sr.KG children dressed up as  freedom fighters and spoke about their contribution to the country.

Children from Playgroup and Nursery section stuck  tri- colour crepe paper on a circle and square  shape respectively to make   rakhis. 

Jr.KG children had made a flag in their scrap book and Sr.KG children enjoyed cooking experience where they made tri- coloured sandwiches and decorated their thalis and envelopes with the materials brought from their respective homes.

All in all it was a very festive day indeed !
