Witty World Goregaon East, celebrated Independence Day and Raksha
Bandhan on Tuesday, 14th August 2019 with great enthusiasm and
zeal. The classrooms were well decorated with the feel of
patriotism and brotherhood. Children came dressed in tri colour clothes and
were enthusiastic to celebrate Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan. A special assembly was
conducted by the children of Jr.KG and Sr.KG where children said the school
Prayer and sang the National Anthem along with the pledge. They also made
delicious tri-colour sandwiches. Children danced on a patriotic songs and also,
danced to the tunes of a Raksha Bandhan song. All the sections did different
activities from making tri-color rakhis, decorating envelopes and making the
national flag. Children were also given information about the
national symbols. It was truly a day filled with patriotism.
