There’s a colour
we all know,
G-R-E-E-N.
It’s the colour
that means “Go!”
G-R-E-E-N.
Oh, grass is green
and lettuce is green,
Leaves and spinach
and peas are green.
There’s a colour
we all know,
That is Green.
The little Wittian’s of Nursery section at Goregaon
(East) celebrated "Green Day" on 13th August, 2019.
Children had worn green colour clothes. Children brought green colour
objects to class and teacher also showed how the mixing of the two primary
colours blue and yellow makes green colour. They were spoken to about the
presence of green colour in plants, traffic signal and in
the tri-colour flag too. Children did an activity of their hand impression
on a tree cut-out. It was a fun-filled day for
the children as they celebrated ‘Green Day’.
