Rakhi making activity by Grade I to Grade III at Witty Kids, Chikoowadi (2019-20)

Raksha Bandhan signifies the beautiful family bond of trust and protection between a brother and a sister.  The festival speaks about the rich culture and traditions of India that make our nation extraordinary. To help children learn and understand the culture of India the festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated in school. Wittians enthusiastically participated in activities organised by the school.

For the students of Grade IV-VI it was Thali decoration time. Students decorated the thali using flowers, diya, laces etc. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.

Our little Wittians of Grade I – III made attractive rakhis with satin ribbon, stickers, cartoon cut outs and other decorative materials.

The festival was celebrated with full enthusiasm, zeal and gaiety.
