'Me and My Mother' session held at WIS,Atun Road, Bhilwara (Grade V to IX, 4.09.19)

Some of the changes in our lives are predictable. If we are prepared for them, we may be able to influence some of these processes and manage them better. To cope with these dynamic changes of life process Witty International School, Atun Road,Bhilwara once again brought daughters and mothers together on the common platform in ‘Me & My session’on September 04,2019.
National Curricular Framework-2005 says “The physiological changes that occur during adolescence stage have ramifications in the psychological and social aspects of an adolescent’s life. To educate our girls of grade 5 to 9 on the same we had renowned gynecologist of Bhilwara city Dr Sangeeta Kabra  (M.B.B.S, MS ), director of Krishna Hospital.  She enlightened our girls and their mothers on how to be prepared for the physical, mental, psycho-social and emotional changes that take place during this phase of life so that they are not anxious but respond to these changes positively. She also told how sanitation is also equally important in the context of creating safe and hygiene environment in schools which would facilitate good academic environment.
Dr Sangeeta Kabra highlighted the importance of balanced diet rich in proteins which is essential for continuous growth and development across the life span of growing girls.
The mother of our growing girls equally participated by asking different queries. The session ended with clearance of doubt and with positive approach towards the important process of life.
