World Tourism Day was celebrated in Witty International School by the students of Grade I & II on
Friday, September 27, 2019. It was celebrated to dedicate absolute awareness
about tourism and how it affects social and cultural values of any destination.
Five states from different parts of the country were selected. Cultural values
and various specialties of selected states were highlighted by showing a Power
point presentation in every class. Different group of students from each class represented
each selected state. They showed their enthusiasm by dressing as per the tradition
of the selected state. The celebration became graceful when the students took
the initiative to bring the special food of the state. The
creative efforts of all made it possible to explore and understand tourism. A
clear picture of learning with fun was demonstrated by these little Wittians. This
activity proved a great experience to enhance and strengthen the knowledge about
tourism.
