Sports is an important part of a student’s life. It not only helps them develop mentally but also physically. Witty International School, Udaipur in co-ordination with Department of Education, Rajasthan proudly hosted the 64th State Level U-17 & U-19 Boys & Girls Lawn Tennis Tournament Championship 2019 wherein the teams of 22 districts participated with full zeal and vigor.
The Closing Ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Arjun Lal Ji Meena, Member of Parliament, Udaipur, Special Guest Mr. Phool Singh Ji Meena, MLA, Udaipur Rural, Mr. Dharam Narayan Ji Joshi, MLA, Mavli, Mr. Saurabh Ji Paliwal, Director, Archana Group of Companies, Mrs. Preeti Sogani, Director, Witty International School, Principal Mrs. Deepa Chakravorty, & Headmaster Mr. D.K. Gupta.
The Chief Guest Mr. Arjun Lal Ji Meena urged the significance of sports in an individual’s life. He also advocated that the budding talent should be provided with ample opportunities and platform. The enthusiasm and happiness of winning the State Championship was visible on the face of the teams. The hardwork put in by the students and their coaches was finally given recognition in the form of the trophies received by them.
