Navratri is a festival of Godess Durga and it is celebrated in India for nine days.
The tenth day is commonly referred to as
Vijayadashami or "Dussehra" which marks the victory of good over evil.
Our little Wittian’s of Witty World Goregaon (East) celebrated
Dussehra on Monday, 7th October 2019 dressed in colourful, ethnic wear.
Children were explained the importance of the festival
through a story of Goddess Durga and
the victory of good over evil through the story of Shri Ram.
Children enjoyed eating sweets and dancing to foot tapping music.
Jr.KG and Sr.KG did the activity of drawing Raavan in their scrap book.
It was truly a colourful and a fun filled day.
