The skating journey comes to a happy end for Sr. KG section.
Co-curricular activities always play an important role in child’s
early years since it helps to develop child’s gross motor skills and
concentration. Skating is the perfect way to combine fitness with fun. Keeping
this in mind Witty World every year organizes a skating camp for a period
of one month. This year also Sr. KG A, B, W and X had their skating camp
from 16th of September 2019 to 18th of October 2019.
The Camp was conducted by professional coaches taking all
required safety precautions like helmets, knee caps and elbow guards. During this period the coaches boosted the enthusiasm of children through
various games that taught them age appropriate basic skills like -how to walk,
balance, sit on the floor with skates, pass through hurdles in different
styles, run, jump and apply brakes.
The Camp was a group oriented activity with an
individual attention. It was a fun way to learn skates. The one month camp came to an end
on Friday, 18th of October 2019.
