The little
Wittians of Nursery were introduced to Hexagon shape on the 12th November,
2019. The class was pre- decorated with different hexagon shaped
objects. The teacher introduced hexagon shape by singing rhymes and showing
different hexagon shaped objects and narrated a story with the help of
flashcards. Children explored different hexagon shape around themselves like
serving tray, coasters, prism, photo frame, and clock. Children had fun
playing with their hexagon shaped toys got by them and relished hexagon shaped
food items brought by them in their snack box. Children enjoyed sticking
ice-cream sticks in the hexagon shape and colouring within the shape. At the
end of the day, children learned about hexagon shape in a fun filled way.
