Witty International school stroked the beginning of the year 2020 by celebrating National Science
and Fiction and National Technology day on 6 January 2020. Students were greeted
back to school after winter break with vivacity, ardor and more certitude on science and technology.
Students were fed with information on National Science
Fiction and Technology Day promoting science fiction as a genre, its creators,
history, and various media, too. Recognized on January 2nd annually, millions of science fiction fans
across the United States read and watch their favorites in science fiction.
Our students of Grade V to IX demonstrated various live projects
based on science. The celebration also included public speech which covered the
birth of famed science fiction writer Isaac Asimov on the day. The video shown
to the students enlightened our young minds on scientific and imaginative
facts, theories, and principles as support for its settings, characters,
themes, and plot-lines, which is what makes it different from fantasy.
The
programme was culminated with speech by Vice principal of the school Mr.
Deshbandu Dadhich who motivated the students to become more ingenious and
resourceful.
