On 14th February 2020, Witty World
Bangur Nagar witnessed a parade of children all dressed in Red the colour of
love. The day
started off with the colour red everywhere red dress, red rose, red teddy, red
car, red apples, red cherries, here a red… there a red…..everywhere a red
red …..our little ones spent a Spectacular Red Day.
The children sang Red Day song ‘My red balloon…. ' Apples are red… Roses are red…I love red red, red, red..’
The colour red is indeed the smile of nature….. The ‘Red Day’ celebration was a wonderful learning activity which helped children to sort and classify objects based on colours thereby reinforcing cognitive skills. ‘Children enjoyed a variety of activities all related to the colour red like sticking red paper within the heart shaped outline, drawing a heart in their scrapbook and doing red finger painting all around it, making a heart collage and making yummylicious red rose sharbat.
