The much awaited Synergy
– The 3rd Annual Sports Meet was held on Saturday 29th February,
2020 with great zeal and excitement. The programme began with the Principal’s speech
followed by welcoming and felicitating the guest of honour Mr Deepak Shinde the
proud winner of the World Mallakhamb Championship title. As the blue and white balloons rose merrily towards the azure
skies, the athletes realized in their hearts that these balloons represented
their dreams to participate and individually reach for the sky in their
efforts.
Mr Deepak Shinde addressed
the students and motivated them not to give up in any sphere of life and keep
trying until they have achieved their goals.
After the oath taking
ceremony the events began accordingly. The students entered into the spirit of the
occasion in a grand way. An energizing equestrian display of Yoga aasnas,
Gymnastics, Pyramid formation and Circuit training enthralled the audience. The
breath-taking Mallakhamb performance left one and all spell bound. Once the
races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the
young athletes. Students of classes I to VI competed in events including marble
and spoon race, shuttle run, sack race and obstacle race.
The guest of honour awarded medals and
certificates to the winners of various races. The meet was culminated with the
vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
