MEND THE TREND

A country as diverse as India is symbolized by the plurality of its culture. India has one of the world's largest collections of songs, music, dance, theatre, folk traditions, performing arts, rites and rituals, paintings and writings that are known as the 'Intangible Cultural Heritage.’ (ICH)

Witty International School does not stop at only providing academics. Along with the successful Virtual learning classes, it took the initiative oforganizing one such extraordinary live Facebook Webinar on ‘Mandala Art’ for the students of gradesVI to IGCSE Ion the 13th of June, 2020.

Ms. ShefaliDhargalkar and Ms. SayaliGhatge, the co-founders of Spring Wonderland Young, briefed the students about geometric configurations and intricate circular patterns. According to them Mandalas are circular designs symbolizing the notion that life is never ending. Every student enthusiastically took part in the webinar and learnt the art of expressing their creativity and imagination.

Besides the new knowledge of Mandala Art, the students polished few good skills such as concentration, focus and transforming ordinary minds into enlightened ones.

Through this initiative, the school aims to spread the message of preserving and safeguarding Indian Art and Culture and inculcating the value of positive thinking.
