Frenchabulous Week- ‘Bastille Day Celebration’ at Witty
International School, Borivali
For Bastille Day celebration various activities and workshops were conducted throughout
the week. Kids prepared the famous wrought iron lattice tower model- The Eiffel
Tower and created artistic coffee paintings of the tower. The paintings were
monochromatic yet looked mesmerizing. Posters
related to French renowned monuments, museums which depicted French culture
were made by our Wittians. Also models of famous museum le Louvre and hats
depicting French flag colour were fabricated. Students stunned us with their
awe-inspiring dance performances .To add the light to our workshops, we had
guest speakers Procy Master who is the Chief Secretary of IATF and also Pooja
Chandiramani , a DELF/DALF examiner who conducted the French day workshops for
our Wittians. They spoke about French famous designers, culture, writers,
cheese, wines, museums and monuments. Students enjoyed the interaction, learnt
amazing dialogues and also got acquainted with French cuisines and were
thoroughly galvanized by our guest speakers. Prochy Master also showed a
virtual tour of France which led to a beatific smile on every student. The
students truly had a whale of a time during the French day celebration. The dexterity
with the paper was enraptured by our Wittians and it was truly a successful and
well organised Bastille Day Celebration.
