Guru Purnima celebrated by Wittians at Witty International School, Borivali (20-21)

                                                                    'Teacher, my Superhero'

On occasion of Guru Purnima, students of Witty International School, Borivli offered a musical tribute as an ode to the role teachers play in a child's developing years, and their efforts in going beyond the call of duty during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure uninterrupted learning. The dedication was even more special as it relived and echoed traditional Indian values with the chanting of the mantra 'Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu' in this modern era. The younger students also prepared ‘’Thank you’’ cards for not only their teachers but for all those who have inspired them in their lives.

Principal, Dr. Jennifer Pereira said, "The role of educators in moulding impressionable minds and providing the foundation for tomorrow's citizens cannot be under-emphasized. Teachers who ensure that their teaching methods are contemporary and engaging, while also creating a passion for the subject are always remembered and revered.”
