Butterflies
are the most magnificent and fascinating creatures in the world designed with
unique and beautiful features. Their aesthetic aspects are mesmerizing and the
change they make from one form to another, called metamorphosis is astonishing.
We
at Witty International School, Borivli have always encouraged our students to
be au courant about protecting and preserving the species of our ecosystem,
hence a DIY workshop was conducted for them where they learnt to , “Create
their very own Butterfly Garden”
Our
guest speaker, Nitya Agarwal, a Nature Enthusiast shared tremendous knowledge
about butterfly species and spoke about how to create a butterfly garden in
your own backyard. She provided information about morphology of butterflies,
host plants, feeding habits of butterflies. The interaction on biodiversity
developed the curiosity in Wittians and they truly had a wonderful time.
