Hat Day celebrated at Witty World, Bhilwara 20-21

 The Tiny Tots at Witty World, Bhilwara celebrated 'Hat Day' virtually on Monday, September 28, 2020. All the children were very excited and enthusiastic. The concept was taken a step further by asking children to wear there colourful and vibrant hats to celebrate 'Hat day'. All the babies were looking adorable in their colourful hats and teachers also wore hats with the babies. Teacher took recap of letter 'Hh' and narrated story of 'Harry Hat man' which was followed by 'Harry Hat Man' song with action. Teacher played a game of musical hat with the children. Teacher narrated the story of 'Hiccups for Elephant'. Children enjoyed a lot.

World Dream Day Celebration at WIS,Atun Road,Bhilwara (Grade III to X, 25.09.2020)

World Dream Day was founded in 2012 by educator and transformational strategist Ozioma Egwuonwu, whose goal was to create a day that would help to inspire and heal humanity. Every dream begins with a dreamer with wealth of potential within and the passion to reach the stars.That is why goals are so important. Dreams don’t just have to remain fantasies. Sometimes with hard work and dedication, they can become a reality. Not only to improve our life but to make the world a better place.

A gentle nudge was given to the Wittians of grade 3^rd to 5^th, and they upsoared the dreams in form of rainbows, charts, jars full of desires to change the World. Thanks to the technology that gave these dreams - a platform , a means in form of PPT, Videos, etc which  made it easier than ever has been to express their wish.

World Dream Day is a day of inspiration, reflection and celebration. Wittians of grade 7^th  to 10^th participated in this observance followed for two consecutive days; by sharing their dreams,visions through PPTs, of what positive things they would like to see happen in the society, city, country. The optimistic atmosphere with the art form created a day that activated new ideas, declared new possibilities which would help to inspire and heal humanity.

World Tourism Day by Primary Section (ICSE) at WIS PB (2020-21)

 Exploring Destinations….

World Tourism Day is celebrated on September 27^th each year. The day aims to foster awareness about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic values.

Students of Grade 1 -5 at Witty International School Pawan Baug, (ICSE) celebrated World Tourism Day 2020 with great zeal and enthusiasm.

In the current pandemic situation, virtual travel has gained momentum and made it possible to explore places from the comfort of our living rooms. Students of grade 1 and 2 witnessed the virtual tour like never before. The Seven Wonders of the World could have never been this exciting and interesting. It was a great learning experience for them.

Virtual tours conducted by the students of grade 3 - 5 sharing important information such as tourist spots, cuisines, currency, clothing and important facts about different travel destinations like India, Australia, UAE, Africa and France were very enriching.

Students’ understood the significance of tourism and its impact on the development of a country. The presentation by the students turned all heads, and without any doubt stole the whole show by their astounding performances. It was like watching the butterflies take over the stage with their dazzling display of vibrant enthusiasm.

The session was a good learning experience for faculty and students.

World Tourism Day by Primary Section (IGCSE) at WIS PB (2020-21)

 World Tourism Day

To foster awareness of the importance of tourism and its impact, Witty International School, PB, Primary Section celebrated World Tourism Day on Saturday, 26^th September 2020.

There’s nothing like a good game to bring everyone together. Wittians of Grade 3, 4 and 5 geared up to play a live online game – Tambola. The agenda was to travel around the world through simply an awesome and mind-blowing quiz. Children had a jovial time as it was fun and engaging! 

Clown Day Celebrated by Nursery at Witty World and Witty Kids, Udaipur

 This little clown is fat and grey

This little clown does tricks all day

This little clown is tall and strong

This little clown is wee and small

And this little clown can do anything at all.

A circus theme brings out the performer in everyone. On Saturday, 26 September 2020, little Wittians of Nursery class celebrated “Clown Day” virtually, as they were introduced to the concept of Clowns. Children came dressed as clowns with funny faces, colorful wigs, mis-matched clothes, and painted noses!!!

Making a clown cap was also a fun activity. The entire atmosphere in the class was vibrant & cheerful.

Children and teachers were dressed as Clowns with funny faces, colourful wigs, painted noses and much more. Teacher showed tricks to children and gave instructions to make clown caps. The kids had a great time clowning all around.

World Heart Day by Secondary Section (ICSE) at WIS PB (2020-21)

 A HEALTHY HEART IS KEY TO HEALTHY LIFE.

 Heightened stress levels in the present times is the reason for increase in heart diseases in young adults. Living a healthy lifestyle is what it takes to live a healthy heart.  Witty International School (ICSE) celebrated and promoted World Heart Day by virtually organising a Zumba activity for the students of Grade 6, 7 & 8. 

 Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. This fitness regime not only boosts heart health but also is a great technique to de-stress.

 Wittians enjoyed the different Zumba movements. From the very beginning to the end the Zumba skills were well noted and rejoiced by the students.

Transform Your Skills - Inside Out - (IGCSE) Primary Section at WIS PB (2020-21)

 

With an increasing awareness of the importance of mental health with our youth, providing them with opportunities to explore their emotional programming and develop skills and strategies to process their emotions in a healthy, mindful way is necessary and powerful.

In keeping up with this philosophy, Witty International School, PB, Primary Section organized a workshop on ‘Transform Your Skills – Inside Out’ for students of Grade 5 on Saturday, 19^th September 2020. Under the guidance of a psychologist,Ms. Urvi Gada Shah, Wittians learnt lifelong skills of how to manage emotions,maintaining emotional sanity and the process for mastering emotions through various activities.

In a nutshell, this session helped our children to understand and deal with different emotions in their day to day life in a healthy way.

 

Fit In to Stay Fit Workshop - (IGCSE) Primary Section at WIS PB (2020-21)

 

Witty International School, PB, Primary Section invited our students of Grade 3 for a workshop on ‘Fit in to Stay Fit’ on Saturday, 19^th September 2020. The guests for the day were Yoga instructors; Ms. Prachi Bhandari and Ms. Yashvi Mehta.

The students were enthusiastic and had great energy as they participated in this session with their grandparents. This was the perfect time for grandparents and grandchildren to rekindle their bond. Wittians geared up to perform adroit yogic postures which helped them in developing stability, concentration and balance.

The message was profoundly conveyed as students understood that yoga is something worth investing their time and energy in.

 

Mandala Dot Art Workshop - (IGCSE) Primary Section At WIS PB (2020-21)

“Each person’s life is like a mandala – a vast, limitless circle. We stand in the center of our own circle, and everything we see, hear and think forms the mandala of our life.” – Pema Chodron.

Along with successful E-Learning, Witty International School, PB, Primary Section took the initiative of organizing an extraordinary workshop on ‘Mandala Dot Art’ with ameaningful approach for the students of Grade 4 on Saturday, 19^th September 2020. Wittians were invited to participate in this activity with their Grandparents thatsurely gave them immense happiness which they always longed for.

The activity also helped students polish a few good skills such as concentration, focus and transforming ordinary minds into enlightened ones.

Clown Day Celebration by Nursery Section (2020-21), Witty World, Goregaon East

A circus theme brings out the performer in everyone. On Thursday, 24th September, 2020 little Wittians of  Nursery class at Witty World Goregaon East celebrated “Clown Day”. Children and teachers came dressed as clowns with funny faces, colourful wigs, mis-matched clothes, and painted noses!!!

 

They enjoyed dancing on  songs and making  clown cap for themselves , of course with the help of their parents. Children also enjoyed seeing different tricks performed by teachers 

 

The kids had a great time, clowning around!!
