Diwali the festival of lights symbolizes the victory of
righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness – the victory of good over
evil and the glory of light. Welcoming the festival of lights and rejoicing in
the festive mood, Wittians of grades 1 – 5 unfolded
their creative abilities by participating in activities such as Diya and Thali
decoration. The budding
artists let their imaginations run wild, as they created wonderful artistic
masterpieces using paints, glitter, flowers and grains. The
Chocolate bouquets were a treat to the eyes and tempting as well. Many students displayed their talent by
dancing on folk music that left the audience spellbound.
The
occasion was used to highlight the significance of an eco-friendly and
pollution free Diwali.
Children
spent an enjoyable time with their teachers. The ambience was all about cheer
and love. The day ended with loud greetings
of ‘HAPPY DIWALI’.
