MakarSankranti is believed traditionally to mark the arrival of spring in India. As it is the festival of Sun God and He is regarded as the symbol of divinity and wisdom, the festival also holds an eternal meaning to it. Witty International School, PawanBaug organised an activity for the Students of ICSE Grade 1-5.
The merriment began with an interactive session wherein students were enlightened about the importance of these festivals through a PPT. Students further shared the celebration of these festivals, sharing their views with one another. They had a gala time showcasing their innovative and artistic sides by making kite shaped sandwich, using in vibrant, healthy and colourful vegetables, this activity was a way of paying gratitude to nature’s bounty. Children enjoyed the festival celebration.
