"Know Your School "- Visit to Witty International School By Sr KG (2016-17)

On Thursday 6th April, 2017 the children of Sr. Kg.Witty World Bangur Nagar were taken to Witty International School for a “Know your School” field trip. One of the biggest challenges faced by children throughout their academic career is the shift from Sr.Kg. to Grade 1. The transition from a sheltered environment to a formal learning environment is usually found stressful by the children. In an effort to bridge this gap and make the transition as smooth as possible, the children visited all the relevant study and play areas which helped them to get familiar with the layout of their new school and also gave them an opportunity to interact with the faculty.

Here’s wishing our Sr. KG students a great academic journey!!

Gingerbread Man Hunt

“Where is the Gingerbread Man?”
Four Gingerbread men, sat on a tray
The first one said, “Let’s run away!”
The second one said, “Where will we run?”
The third one said, “We’ll have some fun!”
The forth one said, “We’ll be eaten if we stay”
So the Gingerbread Men all ran away!

Witty International school, Udaipur has a tradition for our little Wittians to explore their school campus, so we go on a hunt for the Gingerbread men; Teacher hid these Gingerbread men in the various areas of the school. Children had no idea where they were so teachers and other staff gave clues. With the help of clues children tried to search the Gingerbread men in different areas of the school i.e. Principal’s room, Medical room, Sports room and Library. Children got so excited when they discovered that they had finally found all the Gingerbread men. The kids loved the activity and they also learnt about important places in the school premises. They also enjoyed making Gingerbread man welcome card with their peers.

WELCOME TO SCHOOL

Beginnings are often scary and endings are mostly painful. It is rightly said that every ending is indeed a new start if perceived from a different angle of thought.
That’s how we move ahead in our life and teach our younger generations to balance the pains of endings and the joys of beginnings.
So in this new academic year, as we embrace this beautiful transition from one point to another, we welcome our kids at Witty International School, Udaipur with the same zeal and enthusiasm.
Children enjoyed making welcome cards by finger and sponge dabbing and playing finding name game. They also enjoyed doing various activities during manipulative time and dancing with their peers.

It was a fun filled day.
