 Rhyme enactment Mary had a Little Lamb -25th June 2014

Enacting rhymes has a positive influence on children.It helps in the development of imagination, and, as we all know, dramatization is a great tool for learning. At Witty World, our little ones in the nursery class enjoyed enacting the popular rhyme, Mary had a Little Lamb.Costumes are an integral part of dramatization, and help in getting into the skin of a character,so children dressed as Mary and the little white lamb, added to the feel of the poem enactment. Children enjoyed the experience of singing the rhyme with Mary and her little lamb.

Movie Show at WIS, Udaipur

                                                          “Rio, Nemo and Spy Kids thrilled the Wittians”

Media has brought so much influence on the kids that we need to scrutinize what best a movie can give to children. Apart from providing entertainment, it enhances vocabulary and communication skills which help children to develop linguistic skills through technology.

Keeping this in mind Witty International organized a Movie Show where Wittians enjoyed watching the movie with their friends.

Red Day celebrated in Playgroup (2014-15) at WITTY WORLD

Red Day - 23rd June 2014

Let’s wear red and dance a jig,

on this lovely day.

Red is a primary colour.  Red colour was introduced through a puppet show on Friday, 23^rd June 2014 to the Play Group class.

The class was decorated with different red colour objects. Children came dressed in red colour clothes.

 Children were also shown different red colour objects.

They enjoyed doing red colour free stroke painting using brushes, on the Art sheet. 

Teacher also discussed the red colour snacks brought by them in their tiffins.

RED DAY PG (14-15) WIS, MALAD.

Red is a stop sign.

Red is a rose.

Red is an apple,

And a funny clown’s nose.

Mr. Red came along with his red friends to WIS on Monday, 23 June 2014 to spread love amongst the little Wittians of Playgroup class. Class was decorated with Red objects. Children came dressed in Red coloured clothes and brought Red coloured delicious snacks in their tiffin.

  Children used their creativity by doing free stroke painting in their worksheets. 

THEME AREA JR KG (14-15) WIS, MALAD.

heme area is a part of the class-room, wherein every month’s theme is exhibited related to the particular topic (theme) theme of the month, so as to enable the children to relate to the theme. It is also an extension to the curriculum.

The theme for the month of June 2014 is “Seasons”.  The theme wall was painted with Water Cycle concept picture. As part of the recap session children were taken to the theme area and they were refreshed  about the water cycle concept. During the theme area session children were able to correlate the concept which they learnt in class and they also entered into an informal discussion on the same with their classmates.

Splish, splash, bubble, bubble, pop! Water play, both indoor and outdoor, is a unique activity for children because it’s always available, open-ended, offering opportunities for social interactions, physical skills and concept development including scientific investigation, soothing sensory exploration, connection with natural materials, full body engagement, eye hand coordination and the manipulative skills of lifting, pouring, controlling, mathematical and scientific concepts ,learn about measuring, and concentration and problem solving. In Witty World, little wittians enjoyed water play on Monday, 23rd June, 2104 and had  great fun by doing various activities.

Rooh Afza Making Day Nursery (2014-15) WIS, Malad

In the summer when the days are hot,
I like to find a shady spot and cold sweet drink,
And hardly move a single bit
And sit, and sit, and sit, and sit.

Cooking is not only fun, but also an engaging activity for children of all ages. Nursery section made Rooh Afza on 20^th June, 2014, Friday, along with the teachers and enjoyed drinking the refreshing drink

My Favorite Toy Day Nursery (2014-15) WIS, Malad

"MY FAVORITE TOY DAY" was celebrated on 18th June 2014, Wednesday at WIS to promote the well being 

of children. Children of Nursery section brought their favorite toy and spoke about it. Children had a wonderful time playing, exploring and discovering new things about the world around them and about themselves and their friends, and what they liked.
