Five currant buns in a baker’s shop,
Big and round with a cherry on the top.
A Little boy came with a paisa one day,
Bought a currant bun and took it right away.
Furthering their commitment to serve the community, Asian
Bakery (Huckleberry cake shop) opened its doors to welcome Jr. KG children of
Witty World, and the smells of freshly baked bread ,cookies, and bread wafted
out to greet the children. During the visit, children enjoyed a ring side view
of the art of baking. The bakery showcased all their different equipments right from the dough mixer to the big oven for baking, and
the machine to cut loaves of bread into
slices .
However, the proverbial icing on the cake
was when ,”Mr. Baker” actually assembled an entire blackforest cake in front of
the children ,and, whats more, had them
taste it as well!! Talk about having your cake and eating it too!!
It definitely was experiential learning at
its best.
