We at WIS believe
that poetry recitation is an effective method for students to enhance their
appreciation for language and gain their mastery over public speaking.
Such school activities forces our new generation to find hidden gems
in literature and it develops their creative thinking and imagining capability.
On Tuesday, 14 October 2014 ‘Poetry
Recitation’ was organised for the little ones of Nursery section. Each child
came prepared with the rhymes and they were enthusiastic to come on the stage
and recite the rhyme. The little Wittians quickly got over their initial stage
fright and put up an excellent performance. Children were then given
certificates and a packet of biscuit for their joyful participation.
