Our
country celebrates its Republic Day on 26th January every year. it
marks the birth of our nation as a republic. A grand Republic Day parade is
organized on this day in New Delhi . On this day our constitution came into
force .
The shining stars of
Playgroup and Nursery at witty kids Shastri Nagar celebrated the Republic Day and Basant Panchmi on January 23rd with great pomp and show. The little
angles came dressed in the colors of our national flag i.e orange,white and
green. Children came to know about our national symbols like animal,
flowers national heroes etc. Children enjoyed tearing and sticking the tri
colour papers on the outline of our national flag to become more familiar with
the concept . They enjoyed doing drill on the drum beats. Kids performed prayers to Goddess Saraswati.
