‘Spring Day’
also known as ‘Basant Panchmi’. It initiates the spring festive cycle. It is
celebrated on the 5th day of the bright half of the Indian month of
Magh. Goddess Saraswati is worshipped and the day is treated by celebrants as
Goddess Saraswati birthday. Children of Pre- Primary came dressed in yellow
coloured clothes. They enjoyed Spring Day Celebration by praying & offering
flowers to Goddess Saraswati. They also brought & enjoyed eating yellow
colour snacks with their peers.
