Field trips are not only lots of fun but also a valuable learning experience for the young children. So to know the beauty of the nature, little buds of Nursery section of WIS were taken to 'Rajiv Gandhi Garden' on Friday, 27 February 2015. Children were taken in the school bus where they enjoyed singing rhymes along with the teachers. They were thrilled to have an opportunity to explore nature, they saw different flowers and trees with different colour leaves on it. Later they enjoyed playing on slides, swings, balancing bars and merry-go-round. They were very happy to experience nature so closely along with their friends and their teachers. It helped children to build background knowledge and vocabulary that are important for success in school.
