Trees have
always been a source of inspiration for people around the world. From the tiny
glimmer of hope signified by a tiny sprout in the ground, to the resilient
mighty oak standing alone after a storm.
Keeping the importance of trees in mind , Students of W.I.S, Bhilwara
celebrated Van Mahotasav with great zeal and enthusiasm.Students of Grade VI presented a skit where they had
shown that trees not only grow with us, but can often stay standing when
we become nothing but a memory etched into their bark. Students threw light on
the importance of celebrating Van Mahotsav by giving a short speech.They also sang in chorus an inspiring song with a message " Pedh Lagao, Pedh Lagao".
Students were
motivated to plant at least one tree at their home or in their surroundings. At
the end tree plantation ceremony was held in the school where students of primary
section planted saplings in the pots. Students learned the whole process of
tree plantation and they enjoyed it.
