International Art Appreciation Day observed at WIS, Bhilwara

Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. The various branches of creative activity, such as painting, music, literature, and dance are considered as an art.
Art Appreciation is the knowledge and understanding of the universal and timeless qualities that identify all great art. The more we appreciate and understand the art of different eras, movements, styles and techniques, the better we can develop, evaluate and improve our own art work.
International Art Appreciation Day falls every year on 9th August. On this special day the students of Witty International School, Bhilwara presented a special assembly.  Students of grade III A recited a wonderful poem on importance of art. Very useful guidance was given to the students by the art teacher of the school. She taught the students to make decorative flowers and very beautiful instant rangoli cutouts with waste materials.  Everyone was amazed to see the best use of waste materials. In this sequence the music teacher sang a melodious heart touching song. At the end Ma'am Principal guided the students and told them that art is an essential part of our enlightment process.
