International youth day takes place on 12 August every year,
bringing youth issues to the attention of the international community and
celebrating the potential of youth as partners in today’s global society. The
2015 International Youth Day theme is Youth Civic Engagement that is a main
goal of the UNO’s action plan.
To observe this day students at WIS Bhilwara presented a
Nukkad Natak. Students showed how do they think about economic, environmental
and social life. They also showcased of youth talent, showing how young people
think these problems should be tackled. A very inspirational poem was presented
after that, which spread a wave of enthusiasm among the students.
The main motive of observing this day was achieved when they
took an oath to contribute earnestly to make India- a better place. They were
addressed as ‘Bundle of Energy’ by Ma’am Principal who summed up the program by
motivating them to channelize their energy into positive direction.
We know that children today are leaders tomorrow. If they
are aware of their rights and duties well then soon below mentioned lines would come true…
Nahi hogi rishwat na hi atankvad ki maar
Sirf bahegi Ganga pyar ki
Jisme tairega Hindustan…
Mera Hindustan… tera Hindustan… hum sabka Hindustan.
