Women's Equality Day and Mother Teresa's Birthday celebrated at WIS, Bhilwara





The sparkle in your eyes,
the natural swing in your walk,
you radiate excitement and enthusiasm.
You glow in your passions,
passionate in your pursuits,
you know what you are made of.
August 26 is observed as women’s equality day and birthday of Nobel Peace Prize winner also known as Saint of the Gutters”- Mother Teresa. On August 26, women were given voting rights in US. To mark the significance of the day WIS Bhilwara celebrated Mother Teresa’s Birthday and Women's Equality Day.
A special assembly was presented by the students of Grade VI. Students gave brief information about Mother Teresa’s life and role of women in our society and life as a mother, sister, friend etc. They paid humble tribute to Mother Teresa by reciting a beautiful poem.  Students depicted the power of women in true sense by singing an energetic song “Suno suno meri awaz…” At last, they gave the essence of this day by taking oath to respect every women and help needy in our society.
