An elephant
has tusk, large, thin ears and trunk. The toddlers
of Nursery were introduced to wild animal-'Elephant'. The toddlers
saw different types of elephant-Plastic toys and puppet etc. They played with
toy elephant and soft toys. They also made paper bags puppet elephant
with the help of teachers. They saw the story of “Elmer and the stranger”as well.The toddlers
learnt that an elephant has four legs. Its teeth are called tusk they have large and thin ears and their nose is called the trunk. Elephant is the largest land animal in the world. Through this activity, they could recognize the wild animal Elephant.
