Giving
bring more happiness, than receiving!
Mumbai, 3rd October: One has appropriately said
that ‘It is truly a blessing to give than to receive.’ Trailing this year after
year, the staff at Witty International School, Ramchandra Lane celebrates the
Joy of Giving Week (Daan Utsaav) where the act of giving someone in need
generously brings extreme happiness. The preparation all began a week prior to
the day of donation where the students offered their books, stationaries, toys
and much more whole heartedly. On Saturday 3th October, 2015, the school along
with a few of their student council members, four teachers and a few support
staff visited the orphanage, ‘Shanti Daan Ashram’. The students of Witty International School was overwhelmed
with their visit to the orphanage and it had left a lasting imprint in their
heart. The key purpose of sensitizing the students with the way they live at
the orphanage and to be happy with whatever they have was served to a great
extent.
