“Save energy today for a better tomorrow”
Mumbai, October 14, 2015: Energy conservation
refers to reducing energy consumption through using less of an energy service.
Energy Conservation sessions were held in our school on14thof October, 2015 at
Witty International School, Ramchandra
Lane organized by Tata Power and the Resource person, Mrs.Veena Bakshi. Mrs.
Bakshi enlightened the students on deforestation and its side-effects.
Deforestation, clearance or clearing is the removal of a forest or stand of
trees where the land is thereafter onverted to a non-forest use. To conclude
the workshop, she showed an anthem organized by Tata power which encourages
people to save energy. She encouraged the students to make their own anthem and
come forward. The slogan of the drive ‘JIYO POWER SE’ motivated the students to
be a part of this energy conservation drive.
