New Year in Witty International School
started with great fervour, Wittians of Grade I-XII celebrated the harvest
festival, Lohri and Makar Sankranti with great gaiety and enthusiasm.
The celebration commenced with the
lighting of bonfire by the Principal Mrs. Shubha Govil and Manager Coordination
Mrs. Manju Rana.
The programme continued with the sharing
of information about the importance of celebrating these festivals in our life.
To add icing on the cake the girls of Grade – VI presented a scintialling dance
on “Lo Aa gai Lohri Re” and rocked the floor.
Last but not the least; a skit was
presented which highlighted the reasons for celebrating the festivals.
Fun and frolic marked the occasion,
students and the teachers had great fun munching the reveries and popcorns
together!!
