“Environment Revolution Begins with
Greening Motherland”
With the intention to prevent environment
and inculcate the values of environmental safety in the students, Primary
Section of Witty International School, Pawan Baug celebrated Van Mahotsav on
Tuesday, 4th July 2017 creating awareness for the conservation of forests,
planting of new trees and nurturing mother nature.
On this occasion, the school organised
a workshop for the students of Grade V, conducted by Ms.Zenobia Khodiji sharing
the importance of greenery and its benefits. While addressing the students
Ms.Zenobia urged the students to plant more trees and said that, “The trees
would not only help in keeping the environment clean and green but would be of
a great use to future generation as well.” Students carefully observed the
process of planting a sapling, modelled by Ms.Zenobia and took pride in
planting one on their own.
Van Mahotsav gave our students an
opportunity to fulfil their duty towards environment and towards trees, on
which we all are dependent. We sincerely thank Ms.Zenobia Khodiji from the bottom
of our heart for giving us her valuable time.
