IS HEALTHY
YOUR
WHOLE BODY
WILL
BE FULL
OF
LIGHT.
It
is rightly said by Henry David Thoreau, ‘The eye is the jewel of the body.’ Vision
is one of the most important gifts by God. Keeping the eyes healthy and safe is
a serious concern which people often neglect. Keeping the above concern in
mind, Witty International School Pawan Baug organised ‘Vision Care’ – a
workshop on Monday, 3rd July, 2017 and an eye check up camp for the Wittians of
Grades I –V to create awareness about eye disorders, their early detection, eye
ailments, etc amongst them.
A
team of Eye specialists under the guidance of Dr.Chinmay Sahu came for the
workshop as well as for the eye check up from 10th July, 2017 to 13th July,
2017 which was advantageous for the students as they got an opportunity to know
more about various aspects of eye care. The doctors brought well-equipped eye
examination tools to examine the students effectively. They also spoke to the
students about how to increase awareness and improve access to eye healthcare
services. During the workshop, Wittians also asked the queries they had in
their mind which were solved by Dr.Chinmay Sahu.
We highly appreciate the efforts of
special team of doctors who examined the kids during the eye check up camp and for
the informative workshop – ‘Vision Care’. We convey our gratitude to Dr.
Chinmay Sahu, Ophthalmologist and his team for conducting such a
significant workshop and providing their valuable time to us. We hope that this
camp will bring a change in behaviour of the students and they would now start
taking preventive measures to avoid eye health problems.
