Regular visits to the dentists are not only important for a beautiful bright smile but also to ensure if ones teeth and gums are healthy. With this objective, Witty International School, Pawan Baug organized Dental Check-up camp for the students of Primary Section from Wednesday,6th September'17 till Friday,8th September'17 followed by workshop - ‘SMILE’ on 11th September, 2017.
A team of Senior Specialist Dental Surgeons Dr. Jogani and his team conducted a comprehensive dental checkup for the Wittians. The camp was initiated with dental awareness talk, educating students about common dental ailments, especially stressing on tooth decay and gum diseases and measures to prevent from them. The students were highlighted about the eating patterns and food choices which causes tooth decay. The students got ample opportunities to interact with the dentists to enquire and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases. On completion of the dental checkup each student was given a Dental Check-up Certificate, a summary of the diagnosed problem and the recommended dental treatment plan.
Witty International School highly appreciates the efforts of special team of doctors who examined the kids during the Dental Check-up camp and for the informative workshop – ‘Smile’. We convey our gratitude to Dr. Jogani, Dentist and his team for conducting such a significant workshop and providing their valuable time to us.
