The
world is made up of many different types of interdependent communities. Everyone in a community depends on each other and has
a particular job and role.
In
line with the theme of the month ‘Interdependence’ students of grade I Witty World
(Chikuwadi) played the ‘Social Web Game’ to understand the importance of
community helpers and how each one has a responsibility to
cooperate for a community to run effectively.
Students came dressed as law keeping Policemen, dutiful Doctors and sincere
Teachers to name a few. They talked about the significance of the role played
by these helpers and demonstrated a clear understanding of how we are
interdependent in a community.
Introducing the concept of interdependence helped students understand how important it is for
everyone to work together and help each other.
