‘DOCTOOLS Workshop’
1st July, every year is celebrated as National Doctors
Day across India to honour the doctors who sacrifice their family time so that
patients could spend better time with their family. This day marks the birth
anniversary of the great physician Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.
The white coat of dignity and pride holds value and
significance forever. The awe of bringing a life to the world, the honour of
being trusted, can only be achieved by Doctors' undoubtedly.
On the occasion of Doctors Day a workshop on
the tools used by doctors was conducted for the students of Grade I –V at Witty
Kids Chikoowadi. Dentist Dr Dharna Parikh along with her team visited the
school and introduced various tools used in the field of dentistry. The
students handled the instruments which helped them learn their use. Dr Parikh
also demonstrated how impression of the gums was taken to prepare dentures.
Proper brushing techniques were also demonstrated. Dental care tips were shared
with the students. The activity
culminated with a short speech delivered by a student of grade V appreciating
doctors for their selfless service towards humanity and thanking Dr Dharna
Parikh and her team for such an enriching experience.
