Van Mahotsav, annual tree planting festival is being celebrated in India from July 1st to 7th by planting new tree saplings.
At WIS, on Tuesday July 3, 2018, with the lofty purpose of saving trees, Wittians of Grade I to V planted saplings inside their classrooms. Their teachers created awareness among them about benefits of trees and the harm caused by the cutting of trees. In this connection, they did a drawing and colouring activity also writing slogans to save trees.
Students were encouraged to keep our Earth cleaner and greener.
