This is the day when our Nation sing
This is the day when the Liberty bell rings,
This is the day we all remember
And we celebrate our "Independence Day"
Little Wittians of Pre-Primary celebrated Independence Day at Witty International School, Udaipur. The children were informed that Independence Day is celebrated on 15th of August every year because India became a free and independent Nation on 15th of August 1947.
Children witnessed and participated in a special assembly commenced with a welcome speech, followed by an amazing dance performance on a patriotic song. The little Wittians sang a patriotic song with so much pride in their hearts.
Children came dressed in tri-colour attire and they also brought tri-colour snacks to share with their peers.
Sr.KG children came dressed as various historical characters and spoke their slogans. The little kids enthusiastically participated in all the activities which filled their hearts with pride for their great Nation.
"Jai Hind!"
